Episode 76: Rolling Thundershower in the Blackberry Meadow

Recorded on April 23, 2025, at the dogtrot on the Moonpie Deck, this is the sound of a gentle rolling thundershower—the final in a line of storms that dropped nearly an inch of rain on the spring wildflowers and blooming blackberry brambles in the meadow. As the rain passes, you’ll hear the birds gradually return to their spring chorus including the songs of the Indigo Bunting, House Finch, Tufted Titmouse, Brown-headed Cowbird, Northern Cardinal, Carolina Chickadee, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Pine Warbler and Tennessee Warbler.
