Episode 136: Yuletide Crickets

Recorded on December 24, 2025 at the dogtrot, this is the sound of field crickets singing and a distant Great Horned Owl hooting in the woods below the dogtrot. As blue hour fades and dawn breaks on Christmas Eve morning, winter birds begin their early dawn chorus including a kingfisher at Bullfrog Pond.
